The BKC pedestrian suspension bridge is probably one of the longest pedestrian suspension bridges in the world. This bridge will connect the pedestrians and morning walkers from both side of the Mithi River with the only designated Forest of Mumbai ‘The Nature Park’ and the most popular City Park in the heart of BKC.

The very aesthetical bridge is designed by globally experienced architects Deep Dey & Monica Dey from Designfakt International. The same architect’s team is already engaged in designing the Three Iconic Cable Stayed bridges for MMRDA and the most famous Charkha Bridge for MSRDC.

The pedestrian bridge is spanning 500m between the Pylons and anchor cables spans approximately 93m and 102m at both ends respectively, making total length of the bridge as 695m. The beautiful wooden and glass bridge deck passes above Mithi River over the mangroves allowing mesmerising view of the biological setting. The bridge supporting Pylons at both the ends are designed in various themes with an intension to add some monumental structure in the skyline of Mumbai. No doubt this Pedestrian Suspension will be counted amongst the most beautiful bridges in the World.
