Airport Metro Station

The Airport Metro Station serves as the gateway interface between Nagpur's Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport and the city's metro network. DesignFakt's design creates a coherent arrival experience — guiding passengers from aircraft to metro platform through a sequence of sheltered, well-lit public spaces that read as a continuation of the airport's terminal architecture.

The station's elevated position on the metro viaduct is treated as an opportunity for spectacle: the platform canopy forms a long, curved roof visible from the airport approach road, establishing the station as a civic landmark.
