Sarthi Apartment

Sarthi Apartment in Nagpur is a mid-rise residential building that applies the same rigour DesignFakt brings to civic and infrastructure projects to the design of private housing. The building's façade is organised by a system of projected concrete fins that reduce solar gain on the south and west-facing elevations while creating a distinctive texture visible from the street.

Each apartment is planned for generous daylight and cross-ventilation — a minimum of two exposed faces, with living areas oriented away from the western sun. The building's ground floor is raised on a colonnade, creating a shaded public threshold at street level that is neither entirely private nor entirely public. DesignFakt delivered complete architectural, structural, and services design for the private client.
