Tourism Building, Dibba

The Tourism Building at Dibba Harbour provides visitor services for the Musandam fjord tourism circuit — one of Oman's most dramatic landscapes. DesignFakt's design creates an open, pavilion-like structure with generous shaded terraces that frame views of the harbour and the mountains rising directly from the water. The building is both a functional visitor centre and a viewing platform for the landscape.

The programme includes tourist information and ticketing, souvenir retail, a café-restaurant with harbour views, and outdoor terrace seating. The building's structure is a simple steel frame with a deep overhanging roof — a contemporary reinterpretation of the traditional Omani arcade, providing shade while keeping the building's interior open to the sea breeze.
