Veterinary Building

The Veterinary Building provides clinical, teaching, and research facilities for Maharashtra's veterinary education sector. DesignFakt's design separates clinical and teaching functions into linked but distinct wings — the clinical wing planned for one-way patient flow, the teaching wing for flexible classroom and laboratory use — connected by a generous public atrium that creates a social centre for the building.

The building's clinical wing is designed to the specific standards of veterinary practice: wide corridors for large animals, dedicated isolation wards, and an operating theatre with viewing gallery for teaching purposes. The building is naturally ventilated throughout, reducing operational costs and improving air quality in the clinical environment.
